Callen Whiting is an emerging singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from South East Queensland, Australia, bringing more than a decade of live-band experience to a bold new chapter as a solo artist.

Now 26, Callen has spent much of his musical life behind the drum kit, developing the energy, instinct and rhythmic drive that have become central to his sound. After more than ten years performing in bands—primarily as a drummer—he is stepping into the spotlight with original material that reveals another side of his artistry: an expressive vocalist, honest songwriter and independent musician capable of bringing the power of a full band to his solo work.

Callen introduced his sound with the debut single “Love Anarchy,” a dynamic pop-rock release accompanied by an official music video. He followed it with “Crooked Mess,” an emotionally raw and deeply personal track exploring freedom, regret, vulnerability and self-acceptance.

“Crooked Mess” marked an important early breakthrough, reaching the Top 10 of the Local Sounds Trending Track Chart and attracting praise from Rocker Magazine for its emotional depth and candid storytelling.
